Travel Information

Getting to Santa Fe is easy from all over the country.  We have provided you with some information and links that might help you in making your travel arrangements.

Albuquerque International Sunport

Major airlines serve Santa Fe via the Albuquerque International Sunport, just 60 miles to the south of Santa Fe. Regular shuttle bus service connects the two cities as well as the New Mexico Rail Runner, and rental cars are readily available. Southwest Airlines offers many direct and very reasonably priced flights from major airports around the country.

Santa Fe Municipal Airport

Located southwest of the city, the Santa Fe Municipal Airport recently announced commercial airline service by American Eagle Airlines operating a daily flight to and from Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW). They began an additional service to and from Los Angeles (LAX) in November, 2009.

Train Station

The New Mexico Rail Runner train connects Albuquerque to Santa Fe. The trip from the Albuquerque International Sunport to the Santa Fe depot is approximately 90 minutes. Amtrak trains stop at the Lamy depot 14 miles from downtown Santa Fe. Transportation is available from the station.
Shuttle Services

Sandia Shuttle offers convenient shuttle service between Santa Fe and the Albuquerque International Sunport with pick-up and drop-off at all Hotels, Motels, B&Bs, Colleges and other locations.  It is $27.00 one way and $47.00 round trip.

While in Santa Fe, there is really no need for a rental car as there are many attractions and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, but if you have plans to see the sights in New Mexico before or after the seminar or if you just want to have the freedom to explore Santa Fe beyond the main plaza area, you can rent a car at the Albuquerque Airport.  Most major car rental companies service the Sunport.

Of course, please let us know if you need any further information about traveling in the Land of Enchantment.  You can contact Carla at any time at carla.silver@santafelead.org or at 408-348-8617.

The La Fonda Hotel is Santa Fe’s most historic hotel.  We selected this hotel because we believe it is the ideal location for our seminars – a place for reflection and retreat.  It is also at the heart of Santa Fe.
