When a school seeks to fill a significant leadership position, the SFLC offers a collaborative model to help find the best person for the future of the school community. We begin the process with an assessment of the current administrative structure and function and we help define the talents and characteristics most necessary for effective and successful leadership. From there, we partner with the school to help find the most appropriately qualified candidates for serious consideration. Our approach to finding outstanding leaders is both efficient and affordable.
The critical difference between our collaborative search model and a retained search is that the collaborative model enables the Search Committee to manage the search process with the consultant acting as advisor to the Committee and available every step of the way to support the process. A retained search is one where the consultant does most of the work and charges accordingly and the difference in cost to the school is significant with the collaborative search costing less than half of a retained search.
A step-by-step description of this process is available upon request. Contact Carla Silver for more information or for a full proposal.
